Surely / Burely
Surely, seems at first glance to be an upbeat kind of word, except maybe for :
Surely, there are grownups around? ; which , sounds a good deal different than if you said:
Burely, there are grownups' grownups around .. (?)
I would say, it might be possible, to analyze the difference between these two remarks, by dividing the possible meanings into bits and pieces , as if , for example , you were trying to bake a pie. It could be as simple as , you know, two individual with different speech patterns, or who knows, accents ? Someone might have a blurry accent ?
But all I can say about that is:
Surely, there are grownups around ?
