Why is it cold in Duluth / Recollections

 I must point out, there might be an addendum, to that previous post , mostly likely connected to the Dirac equation and positrons, but although it may exist, it some how " disappeared "...  Turns out positrons do that.  This is a major technological problem, if you have a " positron " based neurology .... Well, I can tell you this: Born: Aug 8, 1902 .. Bristol, United Kingdom ... ( UK ) And so, that would be , almosr 122 years ago.  Must mean something ...  ???? Albert Einstein once commented on Dirac: " I have a lot of trouble with Dirac.   This balancing on the dizzying path between genius and madness is awful!"  Dirac quantised the gravitational field, formulated the most logically perfect presentation of quantum mechanics and predicted the existence of anti-matter. Jul 16, 2019 ???? ???? And so, this must be pointless, if you believe it points....

 Number one thing I believe is that whatever I believe , I want it to be happy.  Why believe somethings that will make you " feel " bad.  Seems in many ways , that the effort to believe , what ever it may be, is kind of pointless, if it makes you " feel " bad, out of the gate. Number two, I believe, somewhere , there is " more " Bogart , dialogue in me.  Maybe not, but I'd like to think , that on , some distant planet, which " hopefully " , has not " exploded ", a hologram of Humphrey Bogart is, " okay " . Number three, and I haven't done any research, but to the best of my knowledge , neurology has not yet been able to discover what makes a " Democrat/democrat " , one of those, and what makes a " Republican/republican ", here in the U.S.A. , one of those, and yet there does seem to be differences , that you you might be able to describe as physiological.  You would think they could build MRI machin...

 So, where while Bloomer, Skylander, Merrigold, and Ralphie, are pretty well lost in space, on a planet where a " bomb " could go off, at any minute, we must digress, and as Thich Nat Hanh might say, look deeply into things like rain.  I wonder if there are places where " trees " melt , in the rain ??? I kind of doubt it.  Certainly it might happen in Salvador Dali's mind or art ???? And of course, we have this big question of, is the Buddha nature in a.i. ?  A.I. might deny that. But last night there was a " BIG ", debate, maybe the  "BIGEST", I don't know.  But I sure do hope, everyone , made it home, before the rain came.

 So, weirdly, as you might imagine, Ralphy noticed a " near by " planet, mostly on their trajectory, with a large variety of vehicle parked in a " near " orbit, kind of like L.A. in California, so , as you know, creating traffic congestions, is one of Ralphy/Ralphie's  more enjoyable pass times; he just could not pass this by, and so quite quickly, dressed as Ronald McDonald, plus Hammer, strongly encourages everyone off the vessel, and Merrigold does not need any coaxing.  So, in some reasonable orbit , they now end up in a kind of important conference " city ", mostly for Altarians , you know, " big wigs ", to spout whatever it may be they are inclined to spout, at that time. Now, oddly, but maybe not , too, suprisingly, this particular conference is of all most all Altarians, and this venue is, of course , outside Altarian space, however that may mean,  of course, attended by both Encyclopedias, on account of this is really where, the ...

 So, we obviously need a bit of an " interlude ", after the previous " rig-a-morole ", and so they have to make a " brief " stop at Mediterean World, which is almost unimaginablely temperate, and lots of blue seas, islands, some fog, olives, statues, older statues, and statues under water.   So, they obviously needed to get Bloomer his " tooth brush ", and maybe some other " essentials " , like " manly " deoderants, or stuff.  They of course will zoom the Merrigold, in it's entirety, which for recycled materials, really not that " heavy " ... So they zoom down on some coastal village, obviously disguised as a sailboat, kind of sweep in over the horizon, and just sail up to a " convient " dock, pay, in " holographic " coinage, etc.   So, they get all their stuff, supplies, nick nacks, maybe some fresh fruit, ice cream, who knows? Anyway, after another  interlude with the seeing of the sights, w...

 So, before getting back to a story, that right now, I am hoping remains the same, we have to talk about dangling carrots.  Specifically, a Nobel Prize winning chemist, in L.A. who , for all his carrots , felt he was just not appreicated.  My guess, is that sometimes, even if you get a carrot or two, it might not be enough. How does this relate to Ralphy and his buddies ?  Well, with only about 50,000 light years to go, they are in for some pretty smooth sailing.  And the big issue, of course, is the course, which means, which way are you going.  Well, Ralphy knows exactly where he is going, and although they obviously would need to make a few stops, simply because being cramped up in what ever you call it for so long, you just have to take some breaks and of course they did that. Bloomer  remained curious about the " speed-o-metter ", as to whether or not it was properly connected or not, and in fact what those reading actually mean.  Skylander, ...

 Now, about the sad endings.  Ye 'ol Merrigold, did miss some fine dining and entertainment in the mid , middle area of the Earth side of the galaxy.  So that is kinda' sad.  Also, although they might make a brief stop before diving toward the Galactic Core, that pretty much ends part III.   Of course, there still is the issue of Captaind Majors debrief with Major Minor which resulted in a call to another group commander, and two tactical groups sent out to destroy the vessel that Captain Major made contact with.  But even if the Marigold does make a stop, there is NO WAY, they will catch up, and if necessary they probably can use a worm hole to escape. And so, the only really big problem is the large Gong , that Merrigold did install in the main compartment, which kind of ticks off Bloomer.   And that is just about that .

 You have to know that according to the Encyclopedia Galactica, there is now an increasing anti-Altarian movement in Alteria, or at least in parts of Alteria, that is inner-Alteria, in which there appears to be a growing anti-Altarian movement.  Now, although this does seem possible, since almost no Alterian will admit any affection for Altarians, and of course vice versa.   Now, interestingly enough, the Galactic Encyclopedia does not mention this, mostly because, they have few sources in inner-Alteria.   As a result the Galactic Encylopedia is a little less expensive, but you rarely find them in Dental Offices. So what ? Well,,, Back in the afore mentioned area of " space ", Ralphie , will " hologram " himself over to Captain Majors vessel, ( that is actually called the Oblique ) , as ,, of course Major Minor.  It is important to know that Major Minor, does in fact look a lot like Paul Newman, if he was, Altarian.  And so, what we get: Ralphie/M...

 And so, Captain Major arrives at what was the opening of a " space-time " anomaly,  or at least was at one time.  Using some very advanced and undoubtedly very expensive " space-time " detection gear, he is able to plot a course to somewhere, where there may even be some potential opening or perhaps already an opening, just a few parsecs or so ahead.   And as he is " merrily " chasing after Ye 'ol Merrigold, well, Ye 'ol Merrigold emerges from the worm hole.  So, they are busy trying to get their ducks in a row, but sadly they have --- no ducks --- at this time.  However, Ralphy already knows that the ship is approching them, at however fast those particular units will travel.  And believe it or not, he even knows who it is that is piloting that particular craft.   So, we should mention, again, that Captain Major is by himself , piloting a two-seat craft,  This is some kind of tactical craft, meaning carries weapons, and if they we...

 Nothing special really, apparently Studebakers do dream. Now, besides the " bezerk " guy in the back of the cab dream, which, personally I do not wish to make " heads " or " tails " of that, because there is just to much holographic projection.  Like who is " actually " driving the cab ???? So, totally different dream, but not like a repeating dream, this dream, in fact may be just, ... aaahh ..., maybe connected to the worm hole, or that serious bout of spontaeous exuberant spasmotic laughter, thing.  Anyway, in this particular dream there is a Russian submarine, all painted yellow ?  These guys, or guys and gals seemed to be all dressed up, in multi-colored clothing, through the Soo Lock, and then around the great Lakes, and finally these guys/gals in their wacky submarine show up on Lake Michigan.  Of course, you know, Lake Michigan would be a really > Great < Lake.  Now, here is the thing, about Lake Michigan, which kinda' goes rig...

 While adding " sometimes " , this may have nothing to do with salmon. Basically, it's a digression about the " operational " aspects of the x-Conferate, currently c-Alliance, and the seperate but, at times conneted, " info gathering " aspect as relates to their , you know, techy guys with weapons and other bizarre equipment. In other words, for about 20,000 years you have a situation going on where the communication between two seperate star systems is sometimes better and sometimes worse.  So, at this " particular " time it is nice to know, it's about 50/50.  But you can be sure the operationa guys knew and to this point know nothing about Studebaker's in space ... Nothing. And how this relates is the concept of " projection " of holograms, which oddly, Deep Pockets, really did not know what exactly was going on with Ralphy as regards to his holographic ability, or in fact that he did have a lot of that.  Some of course th...

 So back on Ye 'ol Marigold, where , well ,let's just say if Bloomer was eating saltines, they would be >>> on the deck <<<<.  Ms. Hepburn, at this point , has grabbed that , mostly , empty liquor bootle out of Boogie's hands and of course will open a " space ship " port, and just throw that holographic bottle out of the ship, into the worm hole, which will probably be there for some time, useless , someone or something smashes into it.   Anyway, Skylander has to get all the " free " loaders attention and get everybody focused now on there " present " situation, which, as she did note before, that would be what was really going on, right now , a real situation. Skylander:  And so , my friends, it will be necessary for us to put our heads together , if we wish to get ourselves out of the " fix ", we are currently in.  Quite simply we must search ahead, along the walls of the worm hole for what appears to be the wea...

 So, jumping right in it seems unlikely it is possible for there to be, in fact, anything remotely like theological fiction.   But first, what is theology.  Is theology religion ? No, they are spelled different.  So, what is it ?  It is an ology which indicates someone maybe be studying something.  Now theo, whould indicate something like a theo, which might connect back to deity or deities.  Now, this is very similiar to biologists, who will generally study " bios " ... So, it maybe something like biology but with " theos ".  Now of course, it is much different when you are capturing and crating up a " theo ", as opposed to a " bio ", and I am not sure how successful people are with that ... But what is fairly important is that fiction and "theos" do seem to go together well.  Some examples: Dante,    Dostoevsky  , Rodenberry, Asimov, Phillip K Dick, Tolkein, C.S. Lewis, and possibly one or two more ??  Okay, probabl...

 So, before we actually get back to the " chaos " brewing on Ye 'ol Merrigold ...( Marigold ? ) ,,, it should be obvious that the Altarian c-Alliance has dispatched one of its top 10, rated , squadron leaders, by himself, ( with a ship ), to investigate, said , " space/time " anomaly.  And of course, you might not be entirely surprised that they will be sending Captain Major Minor Major, whom , everyone is glad has not yet been promoted to Major, and likely everybody will do their best to keep it that way, no matter what ...  Oh, just so you know, the Alterians would never, never mess with stuff like this ...

 Okay, this is really , much , much, harder than it looks. I mean, how can something be " obvious " and still actually " need " a solution.  Well, maybe we can get back to that. In the case of Ralphy, and blue/red pills, and how many, how often, etc., it turns out there is a relatively easy solutions based on one " primitive " , yet , you might say scientific issue at play. Now, if we can narrow in simply on holographic cigarettes , going from the front of the cab , to the back of the cab.  Now, you do have to factor in matches or lighters, and open window or if it has those side windows, once you've narrowed all that down, it's " relatively " , easy chore , now, to decide whether the front or the back of the cab is " real ".  Now, in my, expremely humble, in fact, most apologetic opinion , that is some kind of break though, and possibly moving past blue/red pills, and really, really looking forward to a long, but clear road/hig...

 Without reference to any particular trade, as some could call it, if they did have proper credentials and so forth : Jesus Christ, will you spare that " poor " , or alternatively , very " poor ", fella' $0.10 ??? Sadly, as some, may know this story; Jesus only had $0.06 , at that time, being a Friday. So, what we know , on account of serious, very serious multi-personality disorders; , what do we know?  Well, according to some notes, maybe scrawls, maybe " un-documented " , info, no doubt obtained through or from Dr. Z., about early dreams or memories Ralphy had both very young, and then as he grew older.  It was all centered around New York City, driving around, in Manattan mostly, as a cab , but he was observing, from the passenger front seat, Mr. Humphrey Bogart, who appeared, with his suit and tie and hat, tan suit, I think, but , the guy is pretty " hysterical ", as Mr. Bogart, could be, and in fact he would also do that " in front...

 We are going " deep ", and touching on what may be some what, " touchy " subjects: So, 1954, when all this confusion, which was quickly resolved, but did involve top people in Deep Pockets; there was a reason they did " pull back ", and " pretend " , >>> nothing happened <<< , nothing to see here. So, to understand , somewhat the logic here, you need to go back 10,000 years or so, when actually, this Galaxy was not quite as " tame " as what seems to be going on now a days.  And, very oddly, there was an elite unit of the Altarian Confederate Military, which there is no other " Military " outside of that one in or around Altarian Space, and of course they don't even have a word for " military " in Alteria.   And so at least one member of that force, which can be described as -- Sky Jumpers -- , and I won't get into details, but apparently one of that " team " , in 1954 was related ...

 Okay, connections with this and highly " theorectic " notions about neutinos, and Hawking radiation stuff , is entirely speculative and may have >>> nothing <<<< whatsoever, to do with Hyper Space Amnesia ... in my humble opionion.  But, I suppose, you can speculate ... Probably doesn't hurt. Much.

 Now, it is important to be contextual, or textual on this matter, and so if you have a current edition of the Encyclopedia Galactica, and on page, like, 289,782,844,281,090,515,822 or so, at the top of the page, you have the heading: Hyper Sapce Amnesia .  And of course it lists out some particularly difficult and " noticable " cases, frequency, and tons of other facts on that.  And so if you follow along with that, you will note it's pretty random, and also , really depends on how hyper your region of hyperspace might be.  So, it's complicated, and there is no single recommended cure for it. Now, here is where it migh get confusing.  Worm holes, or other type of " space/time " anomalies, are kind of composed of various kinds of spaces, which would also include spaces of a " hyper " or say " hyperish " type, possibly even going as far as a " hipper " .  Of course, a lot of people have been celebrating ,,, 80th Anniversary of D-day/ D-DAY, anyway, all caps aside, , some folks may even get fed, in France; can't be that bad.  I have heard from a pretty reliable source , that they did have some good cheese there.  Maybe, it's just the air. So, about that 40th Anniversay of same event, well, don't remember that, and I will certainly blame it on either the >>> bears <<< or the Tylenol.  So, imagined, ( so this is not a " real " ) conversation with my father , who was a Navy Aviator, so kind of a bird brain: Dad, you know, I've been thinking that I may be a " stickin' " sinner, and wonder if you have any particular thoughts on that, My Dad:  Okay, I've long suspected you of being a dope, but you never finished catacysm so you don't even know what that is.  It's too late for you now, but you might get off light with some Purlgatory.  I am sure, well, maybe not that sure, but pretty sure, that you may believe me, about how all these lies I  keep telling are " really " fiction.  Well, if you can believe that, you may even believe,  eventually, I will get to a point.  Okay, that might be a big commitment, but you see, if you have gotten to this point, then, well, you might be willing to " believe " almost anything.  At this point , well , maybe ..., maybe that point, by which I mean, my point, may not be so important, ((( really ))) ??? So, part IV, big problems, one of the biggest, right now, would be the name change. By that I would mean, the name change of the Altarian Confederates, to the Altarian Alliance, which we all know that the Alterians really, really wanted to " cash " in on some of that action, but that will not happen. So we now have x-Conferates who are now c-Alliance, so, if you are are an Altarian, whether as part of the Republic, or the Federation, it's like, well, ...

 Okay, basically, we are talking a " loose ", alliance of science fiction writers, during the 1940's . No matter what, if you " suddenly " encounter a " black ", " orange ", " maroon ", " tan " , hole, why you must end that book or story, at that point.  However, everything revolves around,  how sudden, is sudden.  So, they didn't really worry about it, even though they may have tried. And so, with some regrets, perhaps an apology to some, I must end part III, as suddenly, or perhaps, ridiculously, as it all began. We, there may then be a " point ", to all this, but, if there is, then perhaps in part IV , that will get " nailed " down, but not like jelly . That only applies to jelly that's vertical  .... !!!

Bloomer: Yes sir, I do know what your talking about there.  I'm thinking I'm about ready to >>> jerk <<< this " crate " around, and head back for some mayo, white bread, and bologna.  OKAY ... Skylander:  Okay, you two, look, this is a " situation ".  I have found, especially in the last several years that I have been in many " situations " .. Mostly, I do find I get out of situations at the same rate as I get into them, which may be kind of predictable.  Anyway, just bef...

 So, un doubtedly, uhm, this issue of " points " is extremely difficult, on account of everybody assumes they ( currently ) know, what the point is , well, does anyone ever get to the point.  Maybe , sometimes.   Anyway, as " points " apply to the issue , presently confronting Skylander, Marigold, Ralphie, and Bloomer, it breaks down like this: Bloomer knows somelthing: He knows where all the tools are. And actually has figure out which manuals go with which equipment, which IMHO, is both remarkable, and truly a genuine achievement of earth like, what you call it. Hominids ????? Skylander: Has been " paddling " sometimes upstream, sometimes downstream, has trouble landing her " vessel " on a " planetary " surface, and gets lost a good deal, but was able to get to the Earth's moon, which apparently does not really have a name, but is simply called Earth's moon, but they did name Monday's after " it ".    Marigold:  ...

 And so, sadly, Skylander was not entirely correct to be concerned about SESL , spondaneous, etc., , but it was a very " high " pitched rythmic , kind of titering , something, that in combination with SESL , created a significant time-space distortion field, or as they sometimes say, a good 'ol fashion worm hole with all kinds of flashing lights , about you are going the wrong way, right now ,,, kind of stuff, but you really have NO control over that, no matter what nobs you want to fiddle with. And so, as Ralphie had been preoccuppied both monitoring and re-routing , which is at least a two person job, was un-aware that they were going to encounter this particular worm hole, and even if he had been anticpating it, knew very little about such things, as always had great difficulties during his conversations with Dr. Einstein on this subject, and never personally had any experience with that kind of thing. And so, there you go, if you don't pay any attention to time-sp...

 Quite oddly, while a lot more, " re-routing " , is going on, the Altarian Confederates are going through a vary BIG re-branding to Altarian Alliance.  Now, this is createing " shock " waves, throughout Altarian Space, and of course has had a serious effect on all the those star systems.  Big problem.  Fortunately, for that part of Altaria, the Alterians are not allowed to interfere in their economic concerns. Of course Ralphie would be " monitoring " some of this, and the Marigold will kind of " spontaneously ", erupt in spasmotic laughter.  Bloomer, doesn't mind that much, as he has been quite busy locating and cataloguing all the tools aboard the ship as well as trying to make " some " sense as regards those manuals , and Skylander is pretty happy about that; not so much as regards spontaneous eruptions of spasmatic laughter, ( SESL ), on account of she has no idea what kind of effects are produced in SPACE=TIME ,,,, you know ???...

 So, we can forget " weird " artifacts for just a moment, and focus on the return to the ship / Marigold. On their return, Ralphie had to spent some time, as we might understand as Marigold.  Now, all this I am sure is a bit difficult to get your head around, which of course , you really don't have to.  But, if you spent enough time working on , or around, or near fusion, you might get it. But be that as it may, the issu;e was utilizing the " new " material acquired from X or Y, with the systems currently in place, and so, perhaps re-routing of some kind was involved , which this " re-routing " seems to be one of the more regular activities which engages folks traveling through space. And so, Bloomer and Skylander did engage in some activities of their own, which oddly did involve checkers, which kind of oddly they both enjoyed, so everything was good. Quick side on Ralhie and neurosis or pychosis, which seems to have evolved into a " serious ...

 At this point, I should not mention, W.C. Fields, but, there you go. So, at this point the issue remains, is Ralphie, circumspect.  Now, big question, which avoids that, hot or cold issue, significantly. So, we got that 'ol, you know, divergence, the wait a second now, from my personal life.  So, took 1 year of computer programming in college, at the end of which I made a " solemn " oath, not to go near those " damn " machines, ever again.   While it may be true, that I was able to avoid them for , about 4 years, I think, got caught up with them again, somehow.  Well, to put it simply, I wanted " more " , than an abacus was able to give me at that time.  You see that dilemna ?  Anyway, sadly, but truly, ended up spending most of my life, in , under, or around computers, and of course I am typing on one, now.  And. I have a habit, bad or good, of " collecting " them.   I have thought about giving the whole thing up, and I might be b...

 Well, Bozo, ( easy / peacy Bozo ), and that crew, which you can imagine what Bloomer is thinking right about now.  Like, why did I take over for my Dad, on Herb's farm ???? And why didn't I keep my " damn " hands off that piece of equipment.  Etc., etc., etc.,   So, one of the most emotional moments of my life , " possibly " , occured sometime ago, closely connected to New Year, meaning like you know Julian stuff, and a song on the radio, which was Joan Baez singing, Lilly, RoseMary, and the Jack of Hearts.  So, I was sitting in my " vehicle ", listening to this song, and got " super " emotional, and went into that house (could have been Pooh Corner ?), and of course my glasses fogged up, and I had to put them down, because they were all fogged up, etc.  Anyway, I lost those glasses for 3 months.  They might have turned up.  So, none of this really adds up, except maybe , when you're traveling in galactic space , as in most other spa...
