Degeneration
So, to put it simply , I am not sure ( not sufficiently educated )that -- neurosis --, would be a form of degeneration . I do believe Dr. Einstein mentioned something about " insanity " being repetition of behaviors, for which you anticipate " better " results. Something, like that.
That, is the issue, how does a 69 year old pick-up truck deal with his neurosis --- ??? ... And why would a pick-up truck , be neurotic ? Well, simply put, >>>>> that is a stupid question <<<<< . Think about a vehicle that has traveled pretty much around the world. Drove the streets, in Italy, West Virginia, Boston, Chicago, London, Berlin, Moscow... Would you be a bit >>> neurotic <<<< . And of course >>> the miles <<<<< ... Amazing that the >> metal frame << , would survive that but actually,,, well , no point in getting, too technical.
And of course, " human behavior ", is intimately connected to all this.
Ralphy, as he does come from Missouri, and has a great affection for this hemisphere, sometimes, reflects, that humans , as he knows them are mostly , a large pack of goof balls, but he does have great affection for them. This is also based on observations over time, not so much the goof ball part, but, that humans, in general , when they are at their best , is when they are most united. It's a curious thing. And kind of curious they would come up with a name >>> like <<<<, United States of America ...
The name kind of gives you a >> nudge <<<.
But what is the point here? Did we veer off the path? I think that degeneration is as continuous a process as is regeneration, as should be evident by the fact that they are intimately connected. But, what will happen to a 69 year old pick-up truck? Can he survive his neurosis ?
And way beyond that, what does this have to do with the bigger picture, like , you know, Hot and Cold ?
