Let's do dilemmas
Well, I guess we might think in terms of, are dilemmas real things? Therefore . we require examples, like the famous cart and horse. If you got the horse in the front of the cart, you are good to go. If you mistakenly place the cart in front of the horse you now do have a problem, but it's a little different than a problem because you now must reverse what you did, which in my mind turns the problem into a dilemma because you really have to work it out.
Now today we see many issues, which could appropriately be referred to as dilemmas. Most of these are certainly related to behaviors which do seem to have similarities with carts and horses. My feelings are that many of these issues relate to what might be called " diplomacy ". Some might assume that diplomacy just involves " good " manners, but I seriously suspect there is really more to it than that.
Of course, diplomacy is not exactly like carts and horses, yet I do believe there are some similarities as well.
