Just a little magic

 So, beginning of a new year, or New Year, and it needs to be addressed, because we are all hoping this one may go just a little better than the previous.  Of course there is no way to tell, really, in advance , but we can always, hope for the best, but perhaps plan for the worst ????

Anyway, back to magic and 40 years ago.  Of course, it can be quite difficult to travel that far back, and for some may not be possible, but as I have, I can just relate that info.  

Basically, at that time I was working on a > database <, the details of which, not so important.  But you might say it was a bit  hard to deal with , at times, which there was probably a setting, but anyway, on account of this it was necessary for me to hire a DBA, as a consultant and that I did.  Well, when that database was being particularly difficult, I would call him, and if necessary, he would come, on sight, to see or access what the problem might be.   

I can not remember a lot of details except, he frequently told me, > there is no magic <, as if by declaring there was no magic, there were no " unsolvable " problems.

Maybe by declaring that he was banishing magic to some other dimension.  Who knows.

Anyway, it was clear that it worked , because, he made frequent visits.  

Now, I must say, that the phrase obviously stuck with me as I struggle with those particularly difficult aspects of many parts of life.  Or is it simply in the DNA ?

Perplexity, absurdity, and power

 So, when you consider or imagine " absolute " power, you must also consider the issue of " infinite " work.  In other words, without the results or effects of power, you really don't know anything about it. Nevertheless, throughout most of human history, we have labored under this concept of " absolute " power, which in and of itself produces very difficult logical or mental conundrums.  Of course, Dr. Einstein was fairly successful in dispelling some of these odd conundrums in particularly as regards some of our notions related to the physical world and our " environment " so to speak, however, that required a life time of work, and the help of many colleagues over the years. Something, something, reality

 Now, when we reflect back on " reality ", most people will agree, >>> it's hard to do without it <<< Now, we might be able to figure out how Godel's Proof , ties back to all this stuff, but it seems to me that if you want to describe some kind of reality, then you pretty much have to talk about diversity, and so probably, possibly what you are really talking about is the " ability " to sort out, elements of diversity as being a substantive process which it kind of seems like is persistently .occurring.   This might occur through action like --->  back actions <--- of some different processes or  even ---> front action <----, which might be easier to comprehend.
