So, briefly, chit chat at the joint ...
So, now the three-some is directed by the host, to the table, and " doffing ", ( really ), his hat/cap, Ralphie introduces the group as follow:
Madame la Cheese, ( best beaverish accent ), my name is Ralphy Bogart, and this young lady is < he can do the paragraph pefectly, with an " Inner " Alterian accent >, from the Altarian Federation, and our esteemed colleague Mike Henry , from Earth.
The Cheese: My goodness, Earth you say ? Never heard of it. But really hear on X or Y, we don't get that much information from the " outside ", except through lthe Encyclopedia, and frankly I don't put a lot of stock in their material ... But do tell me, Mr. Henry, about this Earth.
Bloomer: Well, ma'm not that much to say really, just kind of an ordinary planet, goes round and round. We have , in my opinion, some great clouds, and near where I live , not far, there is a Grand Canyon.
The Cheese: A canyon, and a grand one, as well ??? My goodness, the folks here on X or Y, do love ourselves some canyons. For most all beavers a canyons represents a great challenge and oppurtunity to create structures that can be used to cross them or sometimes just decoration. And of course we love our clouds as well, but don't we all somehow believe that our " clouds " are the best of all ?
And now Skylander:
Ma'm I am very curious about something that has remained a mystery to the Altarian people for an awfully long time, and that woudl be why the numero uno, on your world is refered to as, the Big Cheese.
At that point the Big Cheese began to " cortle or kortle " violently, and my have spit up some soup.
The Cheese: Of course, and I am glad you have brought that up. As usual, it is the issue of hear say, and gossip and people who are just unwilling to do the necessary " research ". It is quite simple, as issues of this type often are. It is this: We of X or Y have never traveled above the atmophere of our planet, and so have never traversed to our closet neighbor , which would be our moon. Now, for as long as we can remember, the inhabitants have believed this moon to be made of cheese, most likely Munster. Hence, we refer to the numero uno as the Big Cheese, which means , really, the closer of the Cheese here, as opposed to that --- up there --- .
Bloomer: We have similiar believes, but we tend to think in terms of Green Cheese, which now that you mention Munster, that might make more sense. ???
so Ralphy breaks into a momentary silence as they begin reflecting on different cheese hues.
Ralphy: Ma'm, this issue of space travel, is really one that has brought us to your table, in more ways than one. But first, I am curious about some of these issues your world may be having in that regard?
Which is where the dialogue breaks off, til some time later. Most likely the waiter is trying to get their orders.
