Who observed what ?

 So, we can rush down that >>>> deep <<<< rabbit hole or we might just go slowly at this point, at least in my opinion.  Obviously, an idea that is at least 4,000 years old and yet is extremely difficult to describe, is not something that you really need to rush into.

So, to start out with the issue of Ralphie vs. Ralphy.  Ralphie is the " Italian " spelling of Ralphy, and the odd thing is that the French might spell it the same way.  The French will likely pronouce that differently. You can go on and on about this spelling as you get into various languages or land masses.  But obviously, sounds very much the same , no matter where you are.

So, this democracy thing, is mostly connected to conversations between Ralphy and Dr. Z.  ( Some people do call Dr. Z, the Doctor of AAhhhs. )   Anyways, these conversation begin around 1967 and go on for several decodes, and you can notice over time , how much more cranky, Ralphy does become.  Obviously, over time the whole reality of being a pickup truck became somewhat more diffiuclt for him.

Be that as it may, from the Ralphy of 1967, these issues of democracy was strongly connected to the issue of reason.  As Ralphy began initially communicating with >>> non-human <<< , intelligence, he obviously viewed the whole issue of reason a bit differently, and so it was very hard for him to have a particularly human centric perspective on reason or rationality.  

But ultimately, the problem is that everybody is not always reasonable or rational.  Individually, this is less important but in larger groups, that is, in very large groups , the issue of loss of rationality can become very problematic.  This issue was of course very problematic for Socrates, and he apparently lost his life over thst particular concern.

These are very closely connected to Herb's actual experiences, particularly during WW II, and alot of Ralphy's thought processes where inimately connected to many of Herb's perspectives.

So, the probelm , the conflict inherent is the notion of democracy is that democracy is pretty firmly connected to this notion of reason or reasonableness, Since human beings are not always rational, this can become a problem in many and somewhat confusing ways.

So, in 1967 Ralphy would say that everythibng sort of revolves around mutual respect.  If people are unable to respect each other and themselves, then the notion of democracy loses a lot of it's potential meaning.

Nevertheless, both Ralphy and Dr.Z, did in fact agree that democracy probably does mean something.

Perplexity, absurdity, and power

 So, when you consider or imagine " absolute " power, you must also consider the issue of " infinite " work.  In other words, without the results or effects of power, you really don't know anything about it. Nevertheless, throughout most of human history, we have labored under this concept of " absolute " power, which in and of itself produces very difficult logical or mental conundrums.  Of course, Dr. Einstein was fairly successful in dispelling some of these odd conundrums in particularly as regards some of our notions related to the physical world and our " environment " so to speak, however, that required a life time of work, and the help of many colleagues over the years. Something, something, reality

 Now, when we reflect back on " reality ", most people will agree, >>> it's hard to do without it <<< Now, we might be able to figure out how Godel's Proof , ties back to all this stuff, but it seems to me that if you want to describe some kind of reality, then you pretty much have to talk about diversity, and so probably, possibly what you are really talking about is the " ability " to sort out, elements of diversity as being a substantive process which it kind of seems like is persistently .occurring.   This might occur through action like --->  back actions <--- of some different processes or  even ---> front action <----, which might be easier to comprehend.
