Lady Bugs
Well, this is just about the notion that life may have " gentler " lanes ...
**The Ladybug's Escape**
On my back porch, a moment so still,
A ladybug perched, a tiny thrill.
With spots like stars on her crimson shell,
In her world of wonder, she danced so well.
I leaned in closer, curious gaze,
But my gestures startled, set her ablaze.
With a flutter of wings, she took to the air,
Through a crack in the window, she vanished with flair.
Oh, little traveler, where do you roam?
In gardens of dreams, do you find your home?
A symbol of luck, in sunshine or rain,
You’ve left me with magic, though fleeting the gain.
So here’s to the moments, both quiet and bright,
To ladybugs dancing in soft morning light.
Though you slipped through the crack, your spirit remains,
A whisper of joy in life’s gentle lanes.
