Something about 2024 elections.

Well, number one we can all be glad, it was not Dr. Who, that won the Presidential election, primarily because he is so often prone to flying away in a police box, and can reappear in the past, which is quite upsetting kind of behavior, so we definitely have that to be grateful for.  But, I did do some work on the election which is contained in the following blog:

But, in many ways it was a great event, and of course a quite " pricey " event, s0 Elon Must probably spent less than $200,000,000.00 on that, so I'm going with " pretty " pricey.

All that said, in many ways I kind of realized some of my , maybe, so called, ambitions, as there was a good deal of " partying together ", in that many so-called democrats and many so-called republicans did party together, but now we have reached such a point as to only be able to describe democrats as the party that got the most mud in it's face.  Now, that may be a good thing , or it may be a bad thing, however, what comes to my mind really at this point is, >> was it a fair coin toss << ?

Obviously this has been a focus of some thought for some time, and of course the " fair coin toss ", is quite a big deal in American sport. But ideally with the toss there are rules, then there is the flip and the catch and the result.  Also , important to note, you really need three people to make this work, two opponents and one coin person.

So we definitely had opponents , but the third person becomes kind of vague, and how you rationalize or view the third person kind of determines how well you can analyze the " fairness " of the toss.  Now for some the fairness is not what " really " mattes, what matters is , that  generally the difference is within about 2%  , known as the " margin of error ", which effectively means, " we don't really know ".  The the election itself resolves that " error ".

An analysis , clearly involves some kind of Mandelbrot set, at least it looks that way to me, but what in fact are we really talking about ?  Are we just winding are way into infinity or do we have any idea what we are " actually " doing?  That is also a tough question, and as they say, time will tell and time does make fools of us all.
