A poem, about the Pacific Coast Hwy. in California

### The Heart and The Lightning

**In the heart of California, where dreams take flight,**

**From San Francisco’s hills to L.A.’s bright light.**

**With each curve of the coast, the ocean sings,**

**A symphony of joy that the traveler brings.**

**I left my heart in the fog of the Bay,**

**Where the Golden Gate greets the dawn of the day.**

**Through the winding roads, the cliffs stand tall,**

**Each turn a reminder of nature’s sweet call.**

**To Palm Springs, where the sun kisses the sand,**

**The magic of Hollywood, a wonderland.**

**With the might of the Mouse and the sparkle of stars,**

**Joy lights the path, no matter how far.**

**In the heart of the journey, the lightning ignites,**

**With laughter and love, the spirit takes flight.**

**So let the waves crash and the winds gently sway,**

**For joy is the compass that guides us each day.**
